SECTION II: OBJECT OF THE CONTRACT
II.1) DESCRIPTION
II.1.1) Title attributed to the contract by the contracting authority:

performance: Works.
Realisation, by whatever means of work, corresponding to the requirements
specified by the contracting authorities.
Main site or location of works: Trowbridge, Wiltshire.

II.1.5) Short description of the contract or purchase(s): Prospect Place,
Trowbridge is a major development for Selwood Housing of 49 homes (41
apartments and 9 houses). It is close to a conservation area and forms one
of the key gateways into Trowbridge town centre.
Selwood Housing has Housing Corporation funding for the scheme. The scheme
has a detailed planning consent and design work is considerably advanced.
At ITT stage successful companies will be sent the design brief,
specification and drawings.
The scheme must be built to meet the Housing Corporations design and
quality standards and meet code for sustainable homes level 3. Start on
site is planned for the end of April 2009 and final handover of the built
homes for December 2010.

II.2.1) Total quantity or scope: To complete the design and build the
development scheme at Prospect Place, Trowbridge. The scheme must meet the
requirements of the planning permmision, the clients design brief and
specification (issued at ITT stage). The design must be built to the
Housing Corporations design and quality standards and meet code for
sustainable homes level 3. At ITT stage HQI target scores will be issued.
Estimated value excluding VAT: 5 000 000 GBP.

II.3) DURATION OF THE CONTRACT OR TIME-LIMIT FOR COMPLETION: Starting:
25.4.2009. Completion: 10.12.2012.
